Description:
The job holder will be responsible to analyze & develop creative solutions to real business challenges by
collaborating multi-functional projects & identify areas for improvement. The job holder will report to
CEO of Home Box & will work closely to build an effective strategy of data collection, analysis, and
reporting that supports the business needs of the company & to make more informed business
decisions.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively scan the business environment to identify and evaluate business opportunities and
challenges
Work closely with all the internal departments to identify & implement strategies to optimize
sales, inventory & margin.
Provide the data analysis that will enable multiple functional areas to hit key milestones on
time.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for all business channels performance to help
leadership and business partners make decisions.
Capable of pulling and analyzing data independently, interpret results, provide
recommendations for simplification of opportunities & implement changes as needed.
Identify key areas where maximizing sales requires increased inventory investments and where
reducing inventories or eliminating assortments can improve profitability.
Adhere to all company standard operating policies and procedures.
Support preparation of business presentations.
Timely execution of projects and programs to deliver real time solutions.
Reports - generate a variety of reports and formats (spreadsheets, tables, charts, graphs) that
are used by Concept.
Create new retail reports based on the needs of the business
Import, clean, transform, and validate data from a variety of sources
Quickly and efficiently run Ad-Hoc analysis to support leadership decision making
Analyze Data - able to analyze, forecast & model data so it can be used reveal business needs
and make business decisions
Design presentation of data
Improve data quality
Design and present conclusions
Support the CEO in managing projects related to top-down planning, promotional processes and
execution of strategy.
In addition to supporting improvements in reporting, tools & approaches, the incumbent is
expected to be instrumental in the execution of analysis, the development of conclusions and
the presentation of findings and recommendations.
Skills and Capabilities:
Solid business understanding in integrating customer, finance and organizational insights
Ability to work with Senior Leaders/HOD on various projects, especially in a high growth
environment
Strong communication skills visible in writing, conversation and presentations
Strong logical thinking, Analytical & Business problem solver
Quick learner of new technologies and business functions
Self-starter with high levels of energy, urgency and accountability
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skill
Expert level of execution with Excel, data tools & PPT
Qualifications:
Post-graduate degree in Business Administration from premier B-School.
Experience: 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience preferably from Retail industry
