Main Duties:
  • Develop and implement a department strategy according to the company strategy, set departmental and operational goals and initiate measures to reach these goals and to improve the overall department performance.
  • Lead the performance management method that measures and evaluates progress against division goals.
  • To blame for a result-oriented management and development of individuals and resources, as well as provision of a robust regular leadership presence involving resource allocation, monitoring, reporting, and conducting regular workers conferences.
  • Manage the department expenditure and needs, keeping in mind its impact and utilization on the financial budget.
  • Foster organisational culture by establishing quality awareness and repair orientation and obliging and implementing processes like Project Management and alter Management.
  • Initiate, develop, implement and guarantee adherence of policies and procedures.
  • Promote and support the accomplishment and development UAE Nationals to considerably contribute to Daman’s strategic goals
  • Partner with senior management and other departments to build a comprehensive international network strategy to support market growth in health insurance and healthcare management services
  • Analyse market trends to identify current and future needs in healthcare and current performance of provider networks. Identify ways that provider networks can be diversified to accommodate current and future client needs, improve quality and reduce costs of service
  • Build, refine and manage tiered network of preferred international providers/specialists and facilities to form provider networks
  • Negotiate contracts with individuals, agencies, and provider networks to meet network targets and financial goals, build up the international provider network; Implement contract terms and conditions to obtain optimum services, prices and terms of payment
  • Maintain knowledge of medical trends, cost drivers and cost saving opportunities
  • Work with various Daman business units (operations, legal, sales) to ensure contracts meet operating, financial and legal standards
  • Ensure compliance with government programs such as Thiqa for all contracting and network development purposes
  • Develop and implement new payment methodologies and provider incentives
  • Ensure communications and resolutions of provider issues to applicable team members and other departments
  • Share best practices and identify future potential innovations with senior leadership
  • Work Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of overall relevant experience, wherein 5 years must be in a management/supervisory role and out of which, 3 years should be in international provider management
Education:
  • Bachelor degree in any degree
  • Master’s degree is a plus

  • Dynamic, self-driven with robust business understanding and background
  • Strategic thinking with robust target results and top quality of labor and able to “think out of the box”
  • Superb leadership skills as well as individuals management, selection and development skills
  • Very good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of French, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, German and Dutch language is an added advantage
  • Excellent negotiation and convincing skills
  • Superb analytical, planning, forecasting, execution and problem solving skills
  • Result oriented with the ability to define goals, establish plans and manage work to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ceaselessly acquire and refresh practical information, skills and competencies
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure; willing to travel within the UAE and abroad as per business requirement
  • Respect and promote trust and confidentiality
  • Robust level of client service orientation and expertise all told interactions
  • Very good communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Broad knowledge of health insurance concepts
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Experienced in managing a multi-cultural environment, understanding of different cultures and mind-sets, promote teamwork and knowledge sharing in order to achieve goals and deliverable
