Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the Company receivables stay in the books up to a given cut-off limits, at all time.
  • Review monitoring and regular follow ups strategy to ensure timely reduction on accounts receivable with the HO broker’s and Business Development Executives and Assisting Branches for the timely collection of broker’s overdue .

Job Duties:
  • Review Broker’s outstanding regularly and follow ups on overdue to ensure controlled receivables according to the agreed terms and condition of credit facility.
  • Close monitoring on high risk and PPW (premium payment warranty) obligation outstanding on daily basis and chase to ensure timely collection.
  • Sending outstanding statement monthly to the broker’s.
  • Visit broker for networking, collection and also assist them on reconciliation or any other issues.
  • Excellent follow strategy to collect overdue in appropriate time to minimizing the risk of bad debt.
  • Regular review to identify problem accounts and update AGM Finance Manager to define course of action.
  • Blocked broker’s account when payment has not been made by a set time past the due date.
  • Respond immediately on broker’s queries, complaint and arrange necessary required document and invoices to resolve the issue on time.
  • Review broker’s aging fortnightly and forward to all branch managers (BM). And arrange credit control meeting in HO between BM and AGM & Finance Manager on each month to discuss briefly about the overdue premium collection strategy.
  • Prepared Minutes of meeting after credit control meeting and forward to GM, AGM & Finance Manager and follow up with the BM.
  • Update AGM & Finance Manager to initiate legal or other recovery action against broker’s who are failed to settle the overdue in specified time period.
  • Discussed time to time with AGM & Finance Manager about the issues, query and complaint from broker’s and internal associates.
  • Close monitor wrong entries from underwriters Follow up and sort it out immediately.
  • Assist assigned staff in Finance and branch for the timely allocation of down payments and claims settlement to ensure timely collection of overdue premium.
  • Provide assistance to all the department heads, Branch Managers and staff where needed.
  • Any additional tasks and responsibility as assigned by the management.
  • Setting broker’s rating with the help of AGM & Finance Manager based on several models.
  • Assisting to prepare NGI Credit Policy, New Broker Agreement and Broker’s Rating
