JOB SUMMARY: Sales Counselors assist guests with planning their vacations to Universal Orlando or Universal Studios Hollywood by reviewing available options and providing a personalized experience. Our Sales Counselors (Guest Contact Center) work in a fast-paced phone, fax, and e-mail environment, and have the opportunity to utilize sales techniques and customer service skills to increase product awareness of ticket packages that meet the needs of our guests.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists guests with the sales process for products and services over the phone.
2. Provides service support for phone, fax and online guests on sales initiatives.
3. Maximizes opportunities to add value and increase product awareness of varying ticket media.
4. Provides technical assistance and phone support for ticket and Annual Pass orders, as well as Online Ticket Store guests, including Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.
5. Provides assistance with promotions and/or advertisements on the Universal Orlando/Universal Studios Hollywood websites.
6. Applies appropriate actions to manage calls and maintain standards in handle time efficiencies.
7. Assists guests with pending or double charges to credit/debit cards and answering general information questions.
8. Regenerates online confirmations and print-at-home ticket orders.
9. Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Positions in Call Center Sales require:

1. Working knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office
2. Sales/Customer Service oriented
3. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
4. Handling credit card in sales transactions
5. Maintaining a clean work environment with use of cleaning chemicals
