Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Process;
  • Getting inquiries from the customers
  • Following up on inquiries to make sure they are generated into quotations.
  • Following up on quotations and secure the sale.
  • Negotiating prices, delivery and specifications in coordination with Operations and Team.
  • Contacting clients to negotiate terms of agreement and conclude sales.
  • Achieving sales targets
  • Preparing sales report to monitor inquiries, quotations (job in hand & tenders) and signed projects.
  • Keeping updated records and proper filing.

After Sales;
  • Securing credit application forms from customers.
  • Securing payment guarantee if needed.
  • Getting approvals from Marketing Manager to start supply.
  • Making sure the system is updated to start concrete supply.
  • Making sure customer is sending concrete request 24 hours prior to supply.
  • Following up with customers and production on daily basis to monitor the concrete supply and the level of satisfaction.
  • Getting the project forecast (Concrete Supply Histogram) regularly: (Daily Program, Weekly Forecast, Monthly Cast, 3 Months Forecast, 6 Months, Yearly Forecast)
Production Support;
  • Ensure minimized gap between signing order (LPO) and initiation of actual supply.
  • Daily Schedule review for assigned area and plants prior to supply.
  • Review the weekly plan and discuss it with production team.
  • Review the monthly plan and discuss it with production team.
  • Identifying production capability and capacity before supply and arrange enough resources to cover the needs.
  • Assisting production team in contacting customers for supply and/or re-scheduling.
  • Assisting QC Department in delivering submitting and getting approvals from consultant.
Collection Process;
  • Check and update the aging report on weekly basis.
  • Identifying the customers with past due balances and report them to the Collection Manager.
  • Assist in the delivery and signing of customers Invoices.
  • Follow up on invoices and payments (interim & final, claims against the additional work and lost time).
  • Follow up closely with the customers and give a weekly collection report to the Collection Manager.
  • Securing balance confirmation on regular basis from the Customers.

  • Daily involvement in booking of Sales Team Respective customers so that the final agreed next day booking is clearly copied to the concerned sales person.
  • Needless to remind all, it is the duty of the sales team members to obtain Project Histogram, six monthly, the monthly, weekly forecast from all their respective customers and feedback on actual vs. supply is to be discussed with respective customers Project Managers.
  • All Sales team members are to agree with Project Managers of all their customers that the Payment Certificates of monthly supplies must be handed over to sales/collection team members
  • Sales team members are all to be involved in site coordination matters as and when needed (such as mediating in a booking problem or sorting out missing DDs and obtaining payment certificates).
  • Each Sales Team Member will be copied on daily supply vs. booked.
  • All respective departments are to ensure that Sales team members are copied on all correspondence (on all subjects) relating to their customers.
  • All Sales team members are to agree with Project Managers of all their customers that the Payment Certificates of monthly supplies must be handed over to sales/collection team members
  • Sales team members are all to be involved in site coordination matters as and when needed (such as mediating in a booking problem or sorting out missing DDs and obtaining payment certificates).
